a new era

so as you may have noticed this blog has been dormant for some time - due to the addition of another one in our family, no laptop for me, moving house and a mislaid camera cable.
I have decided to add the new addition to the blog and move proverbial house - internet style.

I think thats about all for the last two months - except to say I havent included a picture of the for sale sign outside our house which means we have to move again, nor have I included photos of all the revolting houses we have been to look at. I will next time put on photos of storm damage but forgot to take a picture of Derek out with the army using a chain saw and hoisting tree trunks onto his shoulder to carry down the hill. ( when I say Army I mean our friend Owen who used to be in the army - he had his army boots on!)

One thing holidays did provide was a chance to work on cutting. Sebastian can now cut with alarming accuracy and love to cut. He has not ventured (yet) into the realm of cutting things other than paper - thank goodness although I think the next time I cut his hair with scissors he is going to put two and two together and then I had better watch out - saying that he is the kind of kid that would do it in full view of me and tell me all about what he was doing at every step of the way. It would go a little something like this...
"mummy I just need the scissors to cut my hair, I will just put them in here like that and go chop chop chop see I am a big boy its your(meaning my) job to cut your (meaning my) hair"

I know that this is a little busy for some peoples taste but I hope that Madeleine enjoys the cherries and the flowers and the spots and stripes. I think there are even a few strawberries thrown in for good measure. We miss being there for your arrival

Huge green frogs to touch at the jolliffes

The features at Evans Head - the kitchen so well designed it was a pleasure to cook in, the tv so large you could be in another room to watch it and the shower head also so large you could be in another room to shower!

A wet weekend indeed - Brisbane did not put on its finest weather for poor Nell! But we did get to go to the museum and the dinosaur garden and the state library, just sadly not the park, nor did the trampoline get a look in. Carnaby was very very pleased to see her friend Nell too. Come back when the weather is better!
